I love this time of year. When the weather is cooler, the leaves are changing and I can live in my hoodies and sweaters. I just love the coziness this season brings. And so when decorating for Halloween I like to add in a little bit of spooky decor while still keeping the cozy element I crave this time of year.

This year I added witch hats, crows, bats and ghosts to my kitchen. And by keeping the warm wood tones and Fall foliage with some gold accents, I still feel like the space is warm and cozy. And just a little spooky.

In my living room I added some Halloween artwork and lots of Fall foliage. I used YouTube to add some cute art to my TV. Which is a fun and easy way to turn the normally big black screen into fun decor. YouTube has several options available. And the best part is, they’re free. Just look up TV art in the search bar. The bat artwork is a download from Etsy and I had Walmart print it for me.

But my favorite part of my Halloween decor is most definitely my Harry Potter themed tree. This is the third year I have done a HP tree and I love it. I kept with the cozy theme by using gold ribbon and ornaments. I also made some cute little brown paper packages and printed out some wanted posters. I crumpled them and burned the edges to make them look old. I bought the stationary, glasses, candles and keys from Amazon. My tree is from King Of Christmas.

I always love decorating my mantle for the changing seasons. For this Halloween mantle I used a fun little skeleton I found at Michael’s. I also added another piece of artwork from Etsy and framed it with a frame that also came from Michael’s. The cute book covers are a printable I found online. The swan is from QVC. The crows are from Amazon.
